| The Captain's
Cabin faces Kachemak Bay where it enters the Cook Inlet. Watch
the fishing fleet as they go to and from the fishing grounds,
(IF you aren't out on the water yourselves!), while sitting under
the log gables on the front porch. To the rear of the cabin, you
can clearly see Kachemak Bay caressing the feet of the beautiful
Kenai Mountains as they cradle the also visible Grewingk Glacier,
cascading down from the Harding Ice Field.
Our cabin is comfortably built for two. It offers a full bath
with large shower and four sets of towels. Although the cabin
is designed for sleeping and snacking only, we do provide coffee
mugs, glasses, silverware, dinnerware, napkins, and salt/pepper.
We also stock daily supplies of freshly ground premium coffees,
filters, tea, microwave popcorn. The kitchenette features a
small refrigerator, a small microwave, a coffee maker, a 1 cup
hot water appliance, and a small sink with cold water dispenser.
